The Exorcist: Believer is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by David Gordon Green and written by Peter Sattler and Green from a story by Scott Teems, Danny McBride, and Green. The sixth installment in The Exorcist franchise it serves as a sequel to The Exorcist (1973).[6][7] The film stars Ellen Burstyn reprising her role as Chris MacNeil, joined by Leslie Odom Jr., Ann Dowd, Jennifer Nettles, Norbert Leo Butz, Lidya Jewett, and Olivia Marcum (in her film debut).
Premise
The parents of demonically possessed girls, desperate for help, search for the only person alive who has had similar experiences: Chris MacNeil.[8][9]

Miranda’s Victim is a 2023 American biographical crime drama film directed by Michelle Danner and starring Abigail Breslin, Luke Wilson, Kyle MacLachlan, Ryan Phillipe, Mireille Enos, Emily VanCamp, Andy Garcia, and Donald Sutherland.[1] It is based on the life of Patricia “Trish” Weir, who was kidnapped and raped by Ernesto Miranda in 1963.[2][3][4] The film also depicts the origin of the Miranda warning.[5][6][7][8]
It is scheduled to be released by Vertical Entertainment on October 6, 2023.

Flora and Son is a 2023 musical comedy-drama film written and directed by John Carney, featuring original songs by Carney and Gary Clark. The film stars Eve Hewson, Jack Reynor, Orén Kinlan, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Premise
Flora, a single mother living in Dublin, is having trouble with her estranged son Max, a rebellious teenage petty thief. Encouraged by the Gardaí to find Max a hobby, Flora rescues an old guitar from a skip and, with the help of a Los Angeles-based online guitar teacher, discovers that one person’s rubbish can be another person’s salvation.[3][4]

Hewson could play the guitar before they made the film and said all the singing she does on screen is her. She told The Hollywood Reporter although she had to overcome a “massive, massive fear” of singing in the film, she never turned to her father (musician Bono) for musical tips: “I’d rather sing in front of the entire world.”[9]
